What Is The Best Location To Pick Up My Car Hire In Edinburgh?
October 16, 2009 by admin · 3 Comments
I'm planning a trip to Scotland in October and have a destination airport in Edinburgh. I'll use a taxi to my hotel and after a few days in Edinburgh, I'd like to rent a car and spend some time on a driving tour.
Edinburgh understanding is difficult to navigate, so I intend to return to the airport to take, or would be better to choose the right place at Waverly Station?
In addition, any discussion on local businesses (eg AutoEurope, etc.) of an international company such as Avis or Hertz?
Thank you! – S.
well if you want to spend a few days just looking at edinburgh then its best to wait untill you want to see the rest of scotland before getting a car. because the streets in edinburgh are very very busy and the bypass is way past the number of cars it was built for.
i think europecar is the cheapest and you can get it at the train station. but i would only get a car if you are wanting to see the highlands because you can get everywhere else from edinburgh alot cheaper and easier through bus and trains
I’ve travelled a lot and have always found that the big-name car hire companies give best value, better cars and better service than “local” firms.
AutoEurope is just as good as Avis or Hertz. You can pick up your car at Waverley Station and if you wish to drop it off at the airport, you can do.
