This map is sustainable and, mostly, very practical and useful. However, it shows the Royal Infirmary (the only hospital in Edinburgh, with ER) in its old location, which is a considerable distance from its current location. Since the hospital moved to its present location in 2003, I think I had much time to update the map, which is dated "2007 review." Fortunately, the majority of travelers in need of aid emergency call 999 or take a taxi, but woe to those trying to make using this card!

This map was useless. It was the street we were looking and did nothing to help us get around the city.

  4. "Streetwise Edinburgh" is a practical and Update (Revised 2008) Guide to march in Edinburgh, the capital of the fine of Scotland and traffic in their immediate environment. "Streetwise Edinburgh is actually five cards in a single sheet folding. On the one hand, it is a 1:2,200,000 scale map of Scotland, showing main roads and geographic features, and probably enough detail to general advice. On the other hand, this side is an area of Edinburgh 1:120,000 scale map showing the city of the A720 bypass the Firth of Forth shore. The third card of that side is a 1:11,000-scale representation of the port of Leith and surrounding areas near the coast, including the permanent headquarters of the Royal Yacht Britannia. The next busiest include a directory in the streets of Edinburgh. The other side of the brochure has a 1:200,000 in the Edinburgh area, including the city itself, Lothian and Fife area bordering the Firth of Forth. Perhaps more importantly, this section includes 1:11,000-scale description of the Old Town, Castle, Holyrood Palace and the adjoining Holyrood Park. This map includes a good selection of tourist attractions, the most important. "Streetwise Edinburgh is very recomemmended Edinburgh planning for hiking and exploring the surrounding area by car.

This is a great plan, I have not checked the map and the land where I would stay in Edinburgh and a few places I wanted to go. The names of streets are well marked, is in the need I had when I was there so I just want to say I was a little more compact. If only folded to fit in your pocket, it would be almost perfect.
