I bought two of this guide and the DK Eyewitness Guide to Scotland before my trip to Edinburgh. This practical little pocket guide has been well worth every penny. It was much more informative, had great ideas and suggestions fantastic, do not miss, places of interest. It has everything you need to have a great trip to town do not know. The fold on the card helped us a lot too. The food / restaurant section has been fought and lost. A couple of places we tried were fantastic. . . some other terrible. Do not cook Mexican, Scotland, despite what the guide says. Enough said. It is the only book you need. It fits in your purse / backpack. We wrote all our own before we left and hit everything we wanted to do and see.

Great guide that fits easily into a backpack or other bag. Hits all the highlights of history and no other information, guidance in the larger, heavier travel. Take one for each city you visit and take them with you!
