Can You Recommend Good Family Areas And Schools In Edinburgh?

Going to Edinburgh with my husband and three young children. We must be close to UNI, but would appreciate some help finding the right school areas. I do not know where to start!

    * Edinburgh Academy Centrally set school for boys 5-16 years and junior school. Co-educational for 2-5 year-olds and 16 years plus.
    * Edinburgh Rudolf Steiner School Education for 3 to 18 year olds.
    * Fettes College Prime Minister Tony Blair and the fictitious James Bond were educated here.
    * Fettes College Alumni old pupils’ club.
    * Merchiston Castle School boys’ boarding and day school in Colinton on city outskirts.
    * Loretto School Ancient co-ed school in Musselburgh, just outside Edinburgh.
    * St. George’s School independent school for girls.
    * George Heriot’s School provides education from nursery to Higher level.
    * Stewarts Melville Mary Erskine School Junior school and co-educational secondary school.
    * George Watson’s College For girls and boys from Nursery to Senior 6 on a single campus to the south of Edinburgh’s City Centre.
    * Cliftonhall Nursery and Primary
